Mia Dardengo

Archaeologist

Mia Dardengo

Mia has completed a Bachelor of Ancient History at Macquarie University (2013) and Masters of Archaeology and Heritage Management from Flinders University (2019).

Mia has considerable experience working with communities in the Northern Territory (NT), and has participated in a number of training experiences and workshops in both the NT and Queensland (QLD). Employed as a casual archaeologist, she has participated in numerous archaeological surveys, recording projects and salvage excavations in the NT, New South Wales (NSW) and Western Australia (WA). She is currently a casual employee of WHC where she undertakes both field and office-based tasks, while working the remainder of her time as a Senior Research Assistant at Griffith University on a major ARC Linkage project based in Cape York Peninsula.

Mia is a member of the Australian Archaeological Association and is an associate member with the Australian Association of Consulting Archaeologists (AACAI).
